GOODS made by students at South Worcestershire College will be on sale at a new shop launched on the Evesham campus.

The new iShop was officially launched on Thursday, May 21, and South Worcestershire College welcomed representatives from the local John Martin’s Charity to join them in celebrating the opening in Davies Road, Evesham.

The shop is open to students and all visitors to the Evesham campus as well as to the general public. It provides an outlet for selling products made at our college, which range from bird nesting boxes and homemade marmalades to hand crafted jewellery and greeting cards and much more.

A key purpose of the new shop is to provide a real working environment for the students and especially those studying Foundation Skills, which provides learning opportunities to those who have learning difficulties or disabilities.

The iShop has been financially supported by the John Martin Charity and its vice chairman, Julie Westlake cut the ribbon and officially declared the shop open.
