IT was celebrations all round at the Salford Priors Memorial Hall when they officially open the doors off the newly refurbished building.
The open day event on Saturday, May 17, was the first chance for the public to take a look at the brand new hall, which has been extensively redecorated in association with the Hall Management Committee, Shale Home Design and Steven James Kitchens.
The kitchen equipment has also been upgraded with a commercial cooker and a top of the range dishwasher.
But the event also saw the presentation of a cheque for £1,647 from the Salford Priors Memorial Hall committee to the new health centre in Bidford.
The money was raised at a recent race night towards two ophthalmoscopes for the new centre.
The open day also provided a chance for regular groups who use the Memorial Hall to display what they do and to try and attract new members.
The open day was said to be a great success.
Anyone who would like to book the new hall can contact The Bell at Salford Priors on 01789772112 or info@thebellatsalfordpriors.com.
