POPULAR skating shop, Bonk in Evesham, is opening its new store in the town tomorrow.

Owner Kim Dunn decided to relocate the shop to Port Street after months of tough trading conditions in the town.

The store will focus on the skater side of things and has its own tuck shop.

It will be officially opened by Evesham mayor councillor Charlie Homer at about 5pm tomorrow.

Miss Dunn said: "I am really looking forward to it, I can't wait. The shop is brilliant and there is a little tuck shop, which I am really excited about."

And the week's excitement was kick started for Miss Dunn on Monday at Pershore Carnival when the Bonk Skate Team were presented with an award for their float at Pershore carnival.

Miss Dunn, who was dressed as Cruella de Vil, added: "The Bonk young people were fantastic and winning was the best possible way to celebrate the opening of our new shop."
