LEARN more about locally produced flicks during a free film roadshow event.

The team behind the Worcestershire Film Festival travel to the Regal in Tenbury Wells on Saturday, June 21 and audiences can enjoy short movies and take part in question and answer sessions from 11am to 4.30pm.

Elliander Pictures's Victorian ghost story The Mysterious Disappearance Of MM Baylis and Lights, a fantasy fairytale by Dave Tomlin set in Kidderminster, will be among those screened and guests from the Shropshire Film Network will speak about their 48-hour film challenge.

Organiser Simon Munn said: “We’re really excited to return to Tenbury Wells for a roadshow event and screen local films in the stunning Regal Cinema. If you’ve not ever visited, now is a fantastic opportunity to do so.”

The roadshow events have been funded by Worcestershire County Council arts service with the aim to discover local filmmakers and showcase their work to a public audience.

The main Worcestershire Film Festival runs from Thursday to Sunday, November 13-16.
