THESE are four young men who police are seeking in connection with a petrol station fraud investigation.

The investigation relates to the fraudulent use of a Shell fuel card totalling more than £6,000 at various service stations in the Worcester area between Saturday, January 4 and Thursday, January 16.

West Mercia Police believe the men may be able to assist their enquiries and are urging them to make contact or for people to help identify them.

Police Constable Joanne Mayo-Evans said: “The card was used numerous times daily over the 12-day period with various vehicles being filled with differing types and amounts of fuel.

“The total amount of money involved was £6,454. Different service stations were used in the Worcester area but mainly the Cross Keys garage in Hagley.

“This represents a significant loss to the company and we are anxious to receive any information which might assist our inquiries.”

PC Mayo-Evans added the four men could be among those who could provide information to help the investigation.

“It is important they make contact and we would also like to hear from anyone else who can identify them.”
