I was hoping for some witty comments to start, but no just the usual whingers about this paper, If it's that bad why do you read it??
I happen to think that although many of the little reports have no interest to me it well may be of interest to others.

You can call them whingers if you feel that way, but I think their complaints are absolutely justified. It is a bit of a non story anyway, but if the paper's going to publish it to fill in the blanks, at least include a detail or two, like how did she do it? Was she hurt? Is she ok now? It's just inept and pointless to print a headline, but then say nothing about it

I'd like to know how the WN finds out about these incidents in the first place. Did someone tip them off about this 'scoop'?

The Fire Service, Ambulance Service and Police all have press releases about significant cases. However, the fire service seem to publish details of their less-significant cases for some reason.
