A BLOOMING great tea party is being held in Evesham to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Everyone is invited to the fundraiser on Saturday, June 28 from 11am to 3pm at JellyPickleJam Vintage Tea Room, in Vine Mews, which will include a tombola, children's lucky dip and a prize tea teaser.

Organiser Jane Hopwood, from Avalon Holistic Health, said: “We’d like to invite everyone to our Blooming Great Tea Party on Saturday, 28th June, to help raise funds for Marie Curie.

"It’s going to be a fantastic event and a great way to make new friends. The more money we raise, the more free care Marie Curie Nurses can provide to terminally ill people, as well as vital emotional support for their families.”

This tea party is part of many others that are taking place across the country between June 20 to 29 as part of Marie Curie’s Blooming Great Tea Party campaign.
