A PERSHORE shop owner is celebrating her first twelve months in business with the re-launch of a new website.

Tracy Bishop, who opened small boutique gift shop Happy Robin in Pershore last March, has decided to mark the first anniversary next month.

On Saturday, July 19, Happy Robin will be offering refreshments, a free raffle and some unmissable offers to thank its customers for their support.

"This is our way of thanking customers for their support and also welcoming people who may not have discovered us, to pop in and explore," said Mrs Bishop, who is originally from Pershore but now lives in Evesham.

She decided to open the store while looking for a new challenge in life and is now looking to the future.

"I realise now that running a shop is so much more than selling gifts," she addde. "It’s about meeting interesting people, sharing occasions with customers and being part of the wider community. "Pershore has made me feel so welcome. It is lovely to be back in my home town and twelve months on, I know I made the right decision."

And a year on she is moving forward with the online side of the business.

"It is a fact of life that more and more people are shopping online so we are embracing it and hope to achieve the perfect balance of a great online experience and a great hands on experience."
