County's firefighters on strike
FIREFIGHTERS are set to take strike action for the next 24 hours.
As of 9am this morning, Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service are joining the nation-wide strike action in a row over pensions.
There are plans for further strike action, set to start from Saturday, June 21, at 10am until 5pm.
In an emergency situation businesses and residents should still call 999 during periods of industrial action and crews mobilise available resources as necessary.
