  • "Perhaps all developers should be required to provide a bike path, and basketball area, or small playground for local children (depending on how many houses are built), in exchange for the financial benefit developers will pocket, before they expect the taxpayer to pay for the infrastructure needed to support the development. When hundreds of houses are built, its mean spirited that the community gets nothing back in return for living in an 'affluent country'. This is a conversation that it well overdue in the UK."

LAND in a Worcestershire village is on the market.

The plot off Oak Lane, Bredon, near Pershore, is up for grabs and already has outline planning permission for 24 new homes via the development land specialists Bruton Knowles.

The 3.2 acre site is around three miles north east of Tewkesbury currently and forms part of Grange Farm, Bredon.
