Something for everyone at country fete

A TRADITIONAL English summer fete and family dog show is returning to a village near Chipping Campden.

This year’s fete in Ebrington is on Saturday, July 12 from 2pm to 5pm in Ebrington Cricket ground on the edge of the village and is offering something for everyone.

Highlights include tractor rides, classic cars, skittles and crown darts along with a grand raffle and a host of stalls.

Returning again this year is the Family Dog Show with categories including scruffiest dog, waggiest tail and agility courses with rosettes awarded in all classes by professional judges.

There is also a host of attractions for children including Life in the rainforest’ , a magic show, Punch and Judy show and new for this year, the “Kids Zone”which has a water pistol shooting range, silly races, wellie wanging and lots of games.

Refreshments include The Ebrington Arms Beer and cider tent, a barbecue and cream teas organised by ‘The Ebrington Singers’ to the backdrop of live music from the Chipping Campden Swing Band and a display fromRosie’s Juniors Dance.

Admission is £1.
