AN appeal has gone out to people in the Vale after a beloved pet dog went missing from its home near Evesham.
Four-year-old Shadow, a hairless Chinese-crested dog, was last seen running out the back garden through a side gate in Hampton on Wednesday (July 9) lunchtime.
Owner Pippa Henley has only had the rescue dog for four months and her friend Mary Hammond, who looks after Shadow when her owner goes away, said they had been walking miles in search of him since he went missing.
"He's been spotted coming up towards my area [in Hampton] but I wasn't here," she said. "He was also spotted going by Hampton Ferry. He is a one off."
Anyone with information about Shadow should call Pippa on 01386 421224.
