NEARLY a kilo of cannabis has been discovered in a Tewkesbury home.
Police officers in Tewkesbury conducted a drugs warrant in Perry Hill, Tewkesbury, on Wednesday, July 9 and recovered nearly a kilo of cannabis estimated to be worth about £6,000 to £,7000.
A male and female were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class B drug and have been bailed for further enquiries to be made.
PC Adam Chalkley, a newly appointed member of Tewkesbury Safer Community Team, said: "This was my first drugs operation and is a great result for the community team.
"I will be working closely with Tewkesbury’s pro-active team on 'Op Tudor' and with their continued assistance and that of the local community I hope for many more positive results."
