Evesham bakery business brings a slice of the USA with 4th of July fun

AN Evesham bakery business bought a slice of fun to the Vale to mark Independence Day.

As part of National American Sweet Bakery Week, which Dawn Foods is running with bakers across the UK, the company, held an American themed fun day for staff on July 4.

Staff at the company’s Worcester Road site donned American themed fancy dress and enjoyed an American barbeque and stateside cakes made especially for the occasion.

Fundraising on the day was a US-theme raffle with proceeds going to Ronald McDonald House at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, a charity that Dawn Foods has supported for several years.
