SUNBATHING scarecrows helped to bring in the cash at this year's annual Church Lench Open Gardens.
The event and grand concert, which coincides with the village Church and Flower Festival, raised £1,800 during the weekend of June 28 and 29.
This year the scarecrows were inspired by a favourite holiday theme.
Thirty-eight scarecrows featured and a dozen gardens were open for visitors to wander round.
