CANNABIS plants have been found in two homes in Vale villages.

Nine plants were removed from a home in Glenmoor, Eckington, on Thursday, July 10.

Police discovered the plants during enquiries into a different matter at around 8.30pm.

A man, suffering from a serious medical condition, has since been given a caution for growing for personal use for health reasons.

A further six plants were taken from a home in Leys Road in Harvington on Saturday, July 12.

The plants are believed to have been grown by a woman for personal use.

She has not yet been formally cautioned or charged.
