FANCY dress and fundraising were the order of the night when members of Pershore and District Branch Royal British Legion and Royal Naval Association joined forces for the night.
On Saturday, July 19, the special 1940s fund-raising night took place at Pershore Naval Club.
People dressed up in costumes from the era and there was plenty of flag waving to the wartime favourites sang by Ruby Lamont.
The event raised £102 in aid of Pershore Poppy Appeal.
The next event for the Poppy Appeal will be a skittles evening at Pershore Town Football Club in September followed by the RBL Poppy Concert on Saturday, October 11, at Number 8.
Tickets will be £15 and will be available from Number 8 on August 15.
