EVESHAM was left looking clean and tidy after a group of litter pickers took to the streets.
The gang of volunteers were taking part in The Big Evesham Spring Clean last Thursday (July 17).
They collected a whopping 45 bags of rubbish from a number of hot spots around Evesham.
They targeted Market Square, Vine Street, Evesham church yard, Abbey Park, Bridge Street, Abbey Road, High Street, Oat Street, Swan Lane, Port Street, Waterside and the Workman Gardens.
Councillor Robert Raphael, who organised the event, said: "It was absolutely brilliant. A great atmosphere. We collected 45 bags, from a town that is cleaned twice a day.
"There were areas were rubbish collects that were quite bad. Bridge Street needs to be done again.
"Around Eof's statue looks beautiful now. The Rotary Club sponsors the planters there so they took on that area."
