THE Farncombe Estate in Broadway is celebrating a 500 percent increase in leisure visitors since last year.
The 400-acre estate near Broadway, home to Farncombe Conference Centre and a programme of weekend leisure courses, has always offered group B&B for business travellers and groups.
But in November the decision was taken to target individual leisure guests, offering an alternative and affordable way to stay in the Cotswolds.
Chris Ward, commercial director, said: "We are delighted by the immediate success of our B&B business.
"Farncombe has unique features that guests enjoy, such as a gym, a modern bar lounge and pool table and acres of spaces for walking and watching wildlife. We even have our own nature trail that runs throughout the Estate."
