GREAT Witley Church is playing host to various musical performances throughout August.
On Sunday (August 3) at 5pm Paul Mocroft returns to the venue to perform A Melodious Menagerie accompanied by John Jenkin on the piano.
Their programme is a collection of songs about many animals, large and small, which will include Histoires Naturelles by Ravel and Le Bestiare by Poulenc.
Also, at 5pm on Saturdays throughout the month, starting on August 9, there will be performances at the church celebrating the 1860 Nicholson Organ, with recitals given by organ scholars including Martin Schellenberg and Cameron Luke.
Entrance to all of the recitals is free of charge.
