THE 85th anniversary of the Raphael family at Hampton Ferry will be celebrated this weekend with a charity gala day.

Taking place on Sunday (August 3) from 11am until 4pm the event will be a fun day for the whole family.

There will be charity and trade stalls with lots to choose from including, toys, jewellery, soaps, bathroom products, candles and picture frames.

For the children a face painter will be on hand as well as Danter's mini children's funfair to enjoy.

Evesham Hospital Radio will be providing the music alongside the Avonbank Brass Training Band who will be accompanied for a special performance by local W Factor under 14’s winner Aimee Fae.

Displays are planned throughout the day with the Charity Scenic 5 race starting at 11 am.

Entry on the day for the 5k race is £10 with all proceeds going to Scope.

In the arena you can enjoy performances from The Mezzo’s and Chrissy Glass of the Performing Arts Company, join in with Zumba from Fitness with Clare, or try your hand at Madnuts Slack Line or Uni Cycle.

And at 2pm Relay for Life will be organizing their novelty dog show.
