THIS year's Great Comberton Flower Show is set to be 'welly' good event.
The annual show is set to take place on Bank Holiday Saturday, August 23, in the village near Bredon Hill and will focus on the theme of wellies.
There are a variety of classes open to everyone from the experienced green fingered residents to young children and teenagers, including decorating wellies, painting and drawings, flowers and planted wellies, and a limerick involving wellies.
The old favourites will also be there, exhibits of flowers, fruit and vegetables and crafts in the marquee, many stalls including produce, plants, white elephant, books, cakes, savouries, bar, barbecue and teas.
There will also be a Punch and Judy stall, classic cars, a novelty dog show and games.
The show will take place in Brailles Orchard, Great Comberton, from 2pm. Entrance is £2 while children go free and parking is also free.
