THE House Spa at the Dormy House Hotel near Broadway has been selected as one of the five best spas in Britain by the Good Spa Guide.

The guide, which operates the UK’s only national spa rating system, judges each venue on a scale of one to five “Bubbles".

In July it launched Five Bubble Luxury, a new tier of excellence initially awarded to just five spas, including House Spa.

Spas are assessed under a wide range of headings from facilities to cleanliness, treatments to food and drink. They must reach top marks in every criteria one to be ranked as Five Bubble Luxury.

Daphne Metland, who founded the Good Spa Guide and visited House Spa for an independent review, said: "Dormy House is like having your very own country house to escape to. t is a lovely combination of luxury and informality. The spa facilities are excellent."

Spa manager Zoe Douglas said she was excited that House Spa was already receiving national recognition, despite having only launching six months ago.

“I am so proud of this award, which is a reflection of the hard work of the many people who created and work at House Spa,” she said. “Guests and members tell us that our spa is an oasis in their busy lives and we are thrilled that the Good Spa Guide has given us its very highest award.”
