AFTER a successful first event last year the Bretforton Show is set to return next month.

The show is set to take place at Bretforton Manor on Saturday, September 13, from 2pm until 5pm.

And promising to be even bigger and better than last year, the traditional village show is shaping up to be a fun-filled afternoon for the whole family with plenty for everyone to enjoy with all the proceeds going to the Worcestershire charity St Richard’s Hospice.

Attractions include the exhibition of show entries, with double the number of cups and trophies to be won this year, performances from Bretforton's very own Silver Band, demonstrations from Worcester Owl Conservation Group and the North Cotswold Pony Club, British Vintage Motorbikes, craft stalls, refreshments and a real ale tent from the National Trust owned, Fleece Inn.

The popular Evesham Rangers Air Gun League will be there, and there will be a variety of children’s play activities to keep little ones entertained, from face painting and storytelling to pony rides.

There’s also a chance to look round the stunning gardens of Bretforton Manor, a manor house dating back to the 17th century, which are usually only open to the public by appointment under the National Gardens Scheme.

Entry costs £2 and children go free.
