PLANS to install a solar farm on 120 acres of land off Longdon Hill, Wickhamford, have been deferred.
Councillors at Wychavon District Council voted to defer the plans by INRG (Solar Park) 14 until they had visited a solar farm.
Councillor Adrian Darby raised concerns based on the "scale of the operation".
"This site is nearly three times the size of the one in Willersey," he said. "This is a very large site that's going to be visible from the Area of Natural Beauty. I don't see how we can pass this until we have consulted the board."
The plans were deferred with one member voting against the motion and another abstaining from the vote.
