WORK to demolish a block of classrooms at Pershore High School has been continuing over the summer months.
The former modern languages block has now been knocked down and will make room for a new development and it has been captured on a webcam allowing people to monitor the progress live.
As part of the plans, which were revealed in April, the building will be replaced with a new art block and bus canopy and create a new eight classroom block in place of the former art building.
The art block will be ready by April next year and the ten classroom teaching block for geography, history and religious studies is set to be built for April 2016.
It is possible thanks to a Education Funding Agency and the Academies Capital Maintenance Fund grant of £3.4 million.
