A CHARITY dance show will be held at Pershore High School this Saturday (August 30) in aid of the Midlands Air Ambulance and Acorns Children's Hospice.

It is being put on by the Bredon School of Dance and is the culmination of a week of dancing at the summer club.

Karen Edwards took over as principal of Bredon School of Dance in January 2007.

She said: "The charity show will end what will be a very crazy week, which is our summer school. It begins on Tuesday when the children will learn the dances and songs they need to perform in the show.

"They have three and a half days to learn all the dances and to perfect them. Every year we have a theme for our show, and this year it is music from Strictly Come Dancing."

The event will be held on Pershore High School and tickets will be £5 each.

As well as selling tickets and putting on a show the school is also doing other things to help raise money. All the students are taking part in a sponsored dance challenge and they have also organised a grand prize raffle too.

The show starts at 6pm at Pershore High School. Call Karen for tickets on 07958227049.
