SEAN Geddes could make his Worcester City debut against Lowestoft Town tonight after completing a move from Stourbridge.

The midfielder, who has scored more than 60 goals for the Glassboys in the last three seasons, made the switch to Aggborough yesterday after the clubs agreed a nominal fee.

City have been tracking the former Manchester United trainee, who played in the same youth team as England international Danny Welbeck, for a while and see him as the possible answer to their goal drought.

Manager Carl Heeley said: “I spoke with Gary Hackett (Stourbridge manager) yesterday about Sean and I was informed that he was available for transfer and we agreed a very nominal fee for his services which we are delighted with.

"Sean has a super goal return and has a fiery side to his character which will compliment the rest of the city squad. We have been actively looking to add goals to the team and this capture should help this.

"We would also like to place on record our thanks to Stourbridge in the professional way they have concluded the business."

Geddes joined Stourbridge, helping them to the FA Cup second round last season, following three years at Walsall.
