WHEN they gave birth to premature triplets parents Marianne and Nick Harth were given great support by a charity for babies born too soon, too small and too sick.

Now the family are eager to give back to Bliss with a table top sale taking place this Saturday (Sept 20).

Triplets, Bethany, Sophia and Nathaniel, who are now 19 months old, were born at just 32 weeks into Mrs Harth's pregnancy, all tipping the scales at less than four lbs.

While the babies were kept in Worcestershire Royal Hospital for monitoring initially it was afterwards when they got them home that Mr and Mrs Harth needed some help.

"We were very lucky to only be in the hospital for a few weeks," she said. "But when we came out we felt we needed a bit of support with a few things so we got in touch with Bliss.

"When we came home with three babies as first time parents we had questions. We have hospitals but it wasn't always a hospital type of problem.

"So we would ring Bliss and say we really need help with this and would be there to give us support. It was really needed when they were little. We wanted to help others as we realise how lucky we are, with our little miracles.

"So now we want to give back with the sale."

And the sale is good timing for the family as they are planning to move to Australia, where Nick is originally from.

The money raised from selling the tables will go to Bliss and the Harth family will be donating any money made from the sale of their belongings to the charity.

Other sellers are encouraged to do the same.

"We will hopefully raise £150 just from the sale of the tables," added Mrs Harth. "It's not going to be massive but every little helps."

The table top and baby sale will take place on Saturday (Sept 20) at Bengeworth Hall from 10am until 2pm.
