CHILDREN across the county who completed this year's Mythical Maze Summer Reading Challenge are being invited to special award ceremonies at their local library to receive their medals and certificates.
Youngsters who signed up to the challenge at Broadway Library and Evesham Library will be presented with their medals and certificates on Saturday (Oct 4) at the libraries.
Presentations will also take place at Pershore Library on Saturday, October 18, at 2.30pm and 3.15pm.
The Summer Reading Challenge, run by the Reading Agency, is for children to read six books over the holidays.
Following on from the excitement of the Summer Reading Challenge Worcestershire's libraries are now encouraging young people to get involved in Chatterbooks Week, October 11-18, to download the free e-books and e-magazines, and take part in a whole host of other activities and events taking place in the county's libraries.
