POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a burglary at a business in St Johns, Worcester, when three packets of fireworks were stolen.

Three intruders gained access to the property between 10pm and 10.10pm on Tuesday, October 14, and removed the fireworks from a wall display before being disturbed.

The fireworks were dropped outside the premises and the offenders made off on foot towards Henwick Road.

The offenders are described as three white men in their late teens. One has a slim build and is about 5'10" tall. He was wearing a light grey hooded top with the hood up, dark coloured trousers and dark trainers.

The second has a slim build and was wearing a black hooded jacket with a white logo on the rear of the right shoulder, dark trousers and dark shoes.

The third is shorter with a stocky build and was wearing a dark grey hooded top with a blue t-shirt and dark bottoms.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “We are reminding people to ensure their properties are secure by preventing access being gained by locking doors and accessible windows.
