A TEN-year-old boy has been released from a car that was involved in a crash on the M5 today.
The boy was freed from the car by fire crews called to the three-car collision on the M5 northbound carriageway between junction 5, Droitwich, and 4A.
One lane was closed, just before the link road onto the M42, as a result of the accident causing traffic to back up, but this was reopened at 2.25pm.
Recovery work is underway and the vehicles have been made safe.
