TWO people were injured in a crash between two vehicles outside the sports centre in St John's, Worcester, tonight.
Firefighters freed one of the occupants by cutting off the roof of the vehicle in which they were trapped.
Ambulance crews have since confirmed that two people were taken to hospital and one person was checked over by crews at the scene at the junction of Malvern Road and Bransford Road.
Their injuries are not thought to be serious.
There were reports of lengthy traffic tailbacks in the area.
Kate Wilkinson, who saw the crash, said: "It looked quite bad, but no one was unconscious when I saw it.
"Traffic was backed up St John's High Street from the town end.
"I drove exactly that way probably two minutes before it happened then back past about three minutes after, before the fire crew arrived."
