YOUNGSTERS from Evesham first schools leapt and tumbled their way through a gymnastic festival held at St Andrew's First School this month.
More than 40 year 4 children from St Richard's, Harvington, Swan Lane, Church Lench and St Andrew's first schools demonstrated their gymnastic skills with the help of ten young leaders from St Egwin's C of E Middle School.
Children took part in gym-tastic activities such as vault exercises, conditioning, rolling and floor routines in the new, purpose-built hall at St Andrew's.
Sports coaches Tim Brown and Shelley Oliver, who ran the event said a fantastic time was had by all.
"It was great to see children from different schools working so cooperatively and effectively together," they said.
"The group performances at the end were absolutely brilliant, well done everyone."
Thanks was given to Wychavon Leisure for the use of its equipment.
