A LOVING labradoodle at Dogs Trust Evesham has found a new home after a life changing pampering session at his local Pets at Home groom room.

Alfie, an eight year old labradoodle arrived at the rehoming centre in Wickhamford, near Evesham, in desperate need of a haircut after his previous owner's circumstance changed.

He had only been at the rehoming centre for a few days when nearby Pets at Home offered him a free pampering session in the groom room, promising a complete transformation and a chance to lie back and put his paws up.

Alfie left the groom room a new man and has since found a loving home and is looking forward to lots more love and attention with his new family.

Emma Bragginton, Dogs Trust Evesham assistant manager, said: "We were so thrilled when Pets at Home offered to pamper Alfie for free.

"We love giving all our dogs at the rehoming centre lots of TLC but as Alfie was finding life in the kennels confusing, we couldn’t think of a more deserving dog to put their paws up and relax."
