THE Princess Royal opened the Edinburgh Military Tattoo's latest attraction yesterday, the Spirit of the Tattoo, the new visitor centre on the Royal Mile. Marking the start of her patronage of the annual showpiece, the princess toured the centre and met a number of people involved in staging the event each year.
