THE Prince and Princess of Wales were reunited as the royal family got

together for the traditional Christmas Day church service at Sandringham

yesterday -- but appeared not to talk to each other or even exchange

glances.

Wearing a brown coat, hat, and ankle boots, the Princess walked from

Sandringham House with other members of the family to the church of St

Mary Magdalen on the Queen's Norfolk estate.

She was escorted by her 12-year-old son, Prince William, and equerry

Major James Patrick.

The Prince of Wales, wearing a brown herringbone overcoat and carrying

an umbrella, walked with 10-year-old Prince Harry.

The main Royal party was headed by the Duke of Edinburgh, the Princess

Royal, and her daughter Zara Phillips, 13. The Queen, Queen Mother, and

Princess Margaret were driven to the church.

An estimated crowd of 2500 people turned out on a bitterly cold

morning for a glimpse of the royals.
