* KOREA yesterday won the Asia/Oceania qualifying tournament in the
Inter-Continental Cup in Singapore and now go forward to the finals at
Posnan in Poland in August.
Malaysia, who were beaten 0-1 by New Zealand in their final game,
finished in second place ahead of their conquerors on goal difference.
They now play Scotland in the play-off for the one remaining place in
the finals in the New Year. Results:
Saturday -- Malaysia 12, Sri Lanka 2; New Zealand 1, Korea 1; Japan 8,
Singapore 1. Yesterday -- Sri Lanka 0, China 8; New Zealand 1, Malaysia
0; Korea 7, Singapore 0.
