NEW girl band Atlanta made a splash when they prepared for this weekend's Resolution Asset Management Women's 10K in Glasgow.
The girls, who supported Shane Ward earlier this week, marked the delivery of 64,000 bottles of water from Strathmore Water ahead of Sunday's race.
Strathmore Spring Water will be on hand at all of the water stations along the route to hydrate the 12,000 runners expected to take part.
All the members of Atlanta are running in the race for the first time - and they all promised to race each other "pretty hard".
A spokesman for Strathmore Spring Water said: "This is a great event which we have supported over many years."
The Resolution Asset Management Women's 10K, for which the Evening Times is media partner, is organised by Culture and Sport Glasgow.
Entries will be accepted until 6pm on Saturday. A race office will operate from Hall 1 at the SECC tomorrow and Saturday.
