A SNOWMAN at Easter is among the mountain of prizes ranging from balloon flights to golfing and pampering days that are being offered in a huge draw and tombola fundraiser at Evesham's Tesco store to raise money for the town's belltower appeal.
Draw organiser Paul Betts said he had originally organised a prize event at Bishampton Golf Club but it had to be cancelled and he was left with lots of prizes.
"I got in touch with Tesco and they said I could use the store to hold a tombola. There will also be a number of draws and a name the snowman competition for the children.
"I have some amazing prizes such as balloon flights, racing days, horse and greyhound racing, wine events and visits to castles, steam train visits and birds of prey days. There is also a cake from Lawrences bakers and a hamper from Hampton Farm Shop.
"There are more than 800 tombola prizes," said Mr Betts.
The prize tombola takes place between 9am and 5pm on Friday April 10. All profits will go towards the Evesham Belltower Appeal.
