A EuroMillions jackpot of £92million is up for grabs tonight.

If the Friday draw is won by a single ticketholder it will be the biggest lottery prize paid out worldwide, the National Lottery said.

The jackpot was last won on July 18 and has since rolled over five times.

A single UK ticketholder landing the pot would be the joint 871st-richest person in Britain and the win would eclipse Glasgow postal administrator Angela Kelly's £35.4m EuroMillions jackpot win in August last year.

It would also take the top European lottery cash title from Dolores McNamara from Ireland, who won £77m in July 2005.

Financial experts say a single winner would earn about £12,918 a day in interest alone on the estimated jackpot, or £90,673 a week and £4,715,000 million a year.

A National Lottery spokeswoman said: "The National Lottery has created over 2100m to date, but if there is a single UK winner of the jackpot tonight we could be signing our biggest cheque ever, as well as creating lottery history around the world."
