French electric company EDF said 100 employees had been "slightly contaminated" by a leak at a reactor site in southern France.
It is the third incident at a French nuclear site in recent weeks and the second at the Tricastin site.
An EDF spokeswoman said the employees were exposed to radioactive particles that escaped from a pipe in a reactor that had been shut down.
The company said the employees were exposed to radiation far below permitted levels and went home, but will still be tested.
