THEY may not have been singing for their own supper but Pershore Town Choir have been hitting the high notes in aid of a local charity.
The Pershore Volunteer Centre were the fortunate beneficiaries of the choir's fundraising for last year, which reached £1,186.
The cheque was presented to Kate Walton on behalf of Pershore Volunteer Centre at an event last month by David Wilson, the choir's president.
