AN EVESHAM school is appealing for people in the town to lend a hand clearing a pond so youngsters can get hands-on with nature.
Blackminster Middle School in Station Road is running a new project in which children will be able to learn about nature by growing their own fruit and vegetables, looking after some chickens and ducks.
But before the work can begin a pond at the school needs to be cleaned up, at staff are appealing for volunteers to help out.
The school is also appealing for donations of equipment and donations to help with the wider project.
