A FREE lunch brought members of the community together in Evesham on Sunday.
The Big Lunch was held at Evesham Methodist Church on Sunday after the church's morning service.
More than 100 people turned out to enjoy the food on offer, set up as a chance for people to get to know their neighbours.
The Big Lunch is a national initiative which was started by the Eden Project in Cornwall and live entertainment was provided on the day by local musician Peter Lamb.
Church member Viv Jones, who came up with the idea to host an event in Evesham, said she was "delighted" with how the lunch turned out.
"I'm pleased that we brought plenty of food and that most of it got eaten, although we could have fed another dozen or so at least," she said.
