KEEN cyclists used pedal power to raise money for a good cause.

Fourteen riders of all ages and abilities enjoyed a scenic ride from Evesham to Honeybourne and back to raise money for Evesham Vale Cardiac Rehab.

The event was organised by Cycle Evesham Vale and was held to coincide with National Bike Week.

Sue Ablett, of Cycle Evesham Vale, said: "It was a glorious route, mainly on quiet roads, taking in tea and cakes at All Things Wild in Honeybourne, and then a well earned drink at The Bridge in Offenham before the long hill back into Evesham.

"Perfect weather, great company, and a very well organised ride, which will have raised much needed funds for Cardiac Rehab and helped to raise awareness of the facilities this local charity provides."
