YESTERDAY we couldn't believe it could get any hotter... especially in the car!
But how wrong we were.
Dozens of you sent us pictures yesterday of your thermometer as it hit dizzying new heights.
And more came in today as Britain has endured the hottest July day on record with temperatures soaring to 36.7C.
The joint winners of our hottest dashboard (locally) competition were: Helen Moseley and Kelly Kennet, who both recorded a blistering 43C in their cars!
