Car hits tree in Evesham after driver suffers 'medical incident'
A CAR crashed into a tree in Evesham after the driver suffered a ‘medical incident’ at the wheel.
Ambulance crews were called to the scene in Battleton Road at about 10.55am this morning.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find a man in a serious condition after suffering a medical episode at the wheel. “His car had also been in a collision with a tree.
“The man received emergency treatment at the scene from medics including advanced life support.”
He was taken to the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch where his condition was described as critical.
