A BROADWAY resident who has had an abandoned car parked outside his home in Upper High Street for more than a week said he hopes action will soon be taken to remove it.
The silver coloured Y-registered Renault Clio is on double yellow lines and has a damaged windscreen.
Resident John Barton said he was concerned it would be vandalised as it was an easy target for children on holiday. He was also concerned it may catch fire.
Mr Barton had complained to the parish council this week asking them to move it.
"Since then the police, traffic warden and council have been in touch to say they are making inquiries but I expect it will still be here in another week."
The car is understood to be registered to a keeper in Gloucester.
