AGE UK and Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service are helping the elderly stay safe and warm this winter.
With the colder months on the horizon they are holding electric blanket testing, by appointment only, at the Vale of Evesham Christian Centre on Friday, September 4 from 9.30am until 3.30pm and Pershore Fire Station on Monday, September 7 from 9.30am until 4pm.
The test costs £2.50 per blanket.
If the blanket fails the test it will be disposed of and a free replacement given.
